National Additive Free Day will be held in communities across Australia to help spread a little awareness on the dangers of children consuming harmful additives.
Fact sheets, recipes, homework sheets, ideas, media releases and more will be available here soon.
If you agree your school, preschool, daycare, playgroup or organization can help make a difference…..stay tuned as Additive-Free Pantry believes our children are worth it!
Additive-Free Pantry would like to invite you and everyone you have ever known to join in and spread a little awareness on harmful additives.
Please grab a pen and mark Friday 4th November 2011 in your diary as the very first (of many) National Additive Free Day. There are a number of ways you can make a difference:
- Download the information packs on Additive-Free Pantry’s website www.additivefreepantry.com (available soon). These information packs will hold recipes, ideas, fact sheets and more. These are designed to be used in schools.
- Grab a friend and make an additive free breakfast, lunch or dinner and enjoy some REAL food together.
- Grab some women ( or men) that like to bake, down load a couple of additive free recipes from the website ( available soon) and hold a stall at recess or lunch with all proceeds going back into the school.
- Get the gang at work to bake and share their additive free creations. Everyone will see that eating additive free still means TASTY.
- Hold a morning tea in your home for friends and family and enjoy great company with great food.
- Why not lead your school, preschool, day-care or playgroup and inspire parents to make an informed choice when making their next grocery purchase.
There are so many ways to get involved. It does not matter if you can help out in a big or small way, it just matters that we get up and say enough is enough and our children deserve better.
Remember….. National Additive Free Day is a day to make a difference!
